On July 15, Jingmen 500kV Substation (Jingmen Substation), the first 500kV substation in Changle District, Fuzhou, was put into operation, securing higher power supply capacity for the development of Binhai New City. This is the second intelligent substation designed by Yongfu following Changle Sizhan 110kV substation that was operated in January 2019, which, served as the State Grid's demo project, has greatly improved ,the reliability of power supply in Binhai New Cityand its digital industrial park. 

Jingmen substation is located in Jingmen village, Guhuai township, Changle district, covering an area of 5.5 ha and with an investment of about RMB 500 million yuan. It is a key project in Fujian province and a power grid project built in Binhai New City by State Grid Fujian Branch. Jingmen substation consists of two sets of 1200MVA main transformers and four circuits of 500kV transmission lines. 

The project consists of high reliability and maintenance-free switchgear, protection and control system of intelligent type, which, compared with conventional equipment, are of higher reliability of power supply, with smaller floor area and less impact on the surroundings, greatly improving the reliability and intelligence level of the system.

The project team shows good technology and service quality during the project construction. The operation of the Jingmen substation fills the gap in ultra-high voltage power grid development in Changle district and meets the load demand of power grid in Changle district, improving the reliability of power supply for 220kV power grid in Pingtan.The substation has been a "heart" of the power grid in southeastern Fuzhou and demonstrates Yongfu's strength and reputation in the field of engineering design for ultra-high voltage substation.
